The fool never thinks ahead and worries about nothing. He takes life as it comes.
This leaves him vulnerable to danger, as he is always unprepaired. But it also allows him to experience and enjoy life in a deep and intense way.

Living with a girl friend and a cat in some town in the Netherlands.
I am really quite the opposite of the fool. I worry about everything, and I see dangers everywhere. I think about everything, and I analyze everything. That sort of behaviour does not always make me happy.
Sometimes I wish I was more of a fool.
The Dutch 16th century philospher Erasmus said that there's great wisdom in folly, and a lot of folly in wisdom. I agree with him.
Therefore, in this journal, I will try to be a fool, even though in reality I am not.
